Informed IT Decisions | Stranded Resources

Many enterprises are struggling to recover costs, challenged to improve efficiencies, and overwhelmed with new demands.  Most are up against the wall to dramatically reduce spending and improve services as a result of 2020, which could include layoffs, shuddering services, and eliminating applications.  Oftentimes, millions of dollars are “stranded” as a function of inefficiencies, outdated and underperforming infrastructure, failed consolidation plans, and lack of right-sizing and strategically deploying resources.

If you missed the event or just want to go back and review a couple of the talking points, here’s the recording.  If you’d like a copy of the slide deck or have a short conversation about what we do, the problems we help solve, and figure out if we can help or not, please use the contact us link.

In this workshop, we’ll discuss hidden gems and opportunities for identifying and recovering stranded resources across the entire IT department including infrastructure, staffing, and even contracts.  David Hutchison, CEO of Excipio Consulting and industry veteran, will talk about Processes, People, and Technology and give insights into developing an efficient and effective IT strategy.

David has personally contributed to hundreds of high-level IT strategy decisions and evaluations over the past decade including large enterprises, state governments, and higher education institutions.  David will be sharing a few crazy things he’s discovered, lessons learned, and creative strategies for recovering infrastructure resources to contribute to the overall data center strategy.  In a current project, he was able to identify hundreds of thousands of dollars being wasted in an oversized and aged cooling system.
