Kathy LangStrategic Technology Advisor and Former CIO of Marquette University
John Adams said, “Every problem is an opportunity in disguise”. I agree. And, I can turn your problems and challenges into amazing opportunities through IT/digital transformations. I do this by understanding those challenges, focusing on key solutions, and successfully executing for results.
With over 30 years of leadership experience, I am a strategic thinker, able to implement the most effective solutions while taking into consideration trends, current technology investment, ability to execute and financial viability.
I build strong relationships and trust between the business and IT by using effective communication, collaboration and transparency. I translate complex digital/technology concepts into meaningful solutions and focus on governance, strategic planning, financial management and risk analysis.
I am a technologist but I’m first and foremost a business leader. I keep an eye on the bottom line while striving for win-win solutions that move the organization forward. I look for opportunities and proactively pursuing resolutions to challenges and bottlenecks.
I am an excellent problem solver who can achieve organizational turnarounds by building and developing high-performing teams that successfully strive for winning results. I value integrity and doing what’s right over doing what’s easy. I am honest and loyal and appreciate visionary leadership, collaboration, and strategic action.
Some of my specialties include IT leadership transitions and organizational turnarounds and IT strategic planning and road map development.
